Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is a 2024 sci-fi action thriller that presents the origin story of the renegade warrior before her encounter and team-up with Mad Max.
The movie was directed and co-produced by Australian-born George Miller (Mad Max, The Road Warrior, Max Max 3: Beyond Thunderdome, The Witches of Eastwick, Lorenzo’s Oil, Babe: Pig in the City, Happy Feet and its sequel, Max Max: Fury Road, Three Thousand Years of Longing) from a screenplay co-written with Nick Lathouris. It was also produced by Doug Mitchell.
The Kennedy Miller Mitchell-Warner Bros. production stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Burke, Nathan Jones, Angus Sampson, Quaden Bayles, Daniel Webber and Lachy Hulme.
Plot:
As the world falls, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and into the hands of a Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. While two Tyrants battle for dominance over the Citadel, Furiosa survives many trials as she plots a way back home through the Wasteland…
