The Wasp is a 2024 mystery thriller about two estranged childhood friends who reunite and plot a murder.
The movie was directed by Spanish filmmaker Guillem Morales (Julia’s Eyes; The Uninvited Guest) from a screenplay by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm adapted from her play of the same name. It was produced by Nate Bolotin, Maxime Cottray, Leonora Darby, James Harris, Matthew B. Schmidt, and Sean Sorensen.
The movie stars Naomie Harris, Natalie Dormer, Dominic Allburn and Jack Morris.

Plot:
Two estranged childhood friends, Heather (Naomie Harris) and Carla (Natalie Dormer) reunite for a cup of tea after not having spoken in many years. At their meeting, Heather presents a very unexpected proposition that will change their lives forever…

The Wasp premiered at the Tribeca Festival. The Wasp will be released by Shout! Studios theatrically in select US locations and on VOD on August 30, 2024.
