
Shelby Oaks is a 2023 mystery horror film about a group of missing fictional paranormal investigators. The movie combines documentary, found footage and traditional film footage styles. Influences include Lake Mungo, The Blair Witch Project and Zodiac.
Written, directed and co-produced by YouTube movie critic Chris Stuckmann – who has close to two million subscribers and has previously made several short films – the movie is a Paper Street Pictures (The Pale Door; Scare Package) production overseen by Aaron B. Koontz. It was executive produced by genre filmmaker Mike Flanagan.

Shelby Oaks became the most-funded horror film project ever on Kickstarter The campaign reached its initial funding goal of $250,000 within 24 hours. When the campaign finished after one month, a total sum of $1,390,845 was pledged by 14,720 supporters – making it the most-funded horror film on Kickstarter.
The movie stars Camille Sullivan, Keith David, Brendan Sexton III, Michael Beach, Robin Bartlett, Charlie Talbert, Sarah Durn, Emily Bennett and Lisa Coffey.
