Reviews:
Ghost Game is a fascinating piece; it has a great setup but squanders most of the middle section with a load of wandering around (which to be fair is what the story is about) and the whole movie doesn’t really settle on anything. It’s a shame because the cast is great, but there are too many of them for such a thinly budgeted project, and the whole thing remains inconclusive.” Bloody Flicks

Ghost Game may work for some, but for those who watch a ton of films, this will feel familiar from start to finish, leading to a frustrating watch knowing some of the talent involved. Emily Bennett saves the whole film, making it clear that the acting is not on par for the parts of the film she is not in. Most of the characters aren’t likeable people, kind of lacking in depth and interest…” Cinema Crazed

“The ending is hugely rushed, and the cut to the credits is almost comically abrupt. The story beats themselves are ok, even if a needless side quest detracts from the urgency, but it doesn’t feel like the situation gets fully exploited for its tension. Sometimes less is more, but since it takes its time to get going, I’d have liked to see another 15 minutes or so devoted to upping the horror and building suspense.” ★★½ Horror Cult Films

“Although Ghost Game, scripted by Adam Cesare, has a fair share of tropes (the Pete character alone, for example, and a creepy caretaker [Aidan Hughes], for another), it does also boast some nice plays on those tropes and some solid twists. Gevargizian is well versed in bringing first-rate helming to fear fare […] She does another super job with direction here…” Horror Fuel

“The opening and closing acts are riveting and get your blood racing. The second act, however, sometimes felt like a big slog. The second act introduced the family into the mixture, and it just took a while to get through what felt like a lot of exposition. I also would have liked a better resolution to the establishing legend of the house.” ★★ The Scariest Things
