The Gorge is a forthcoming film that blends the action, horror, romance, science fiction and spy thriller genres.
The movie was directed and co-produced by Scott Derrickson (Sinister; Doctor Strange; The Black Phone) from a screenplay by Zach Dean (The Tomorrow War).
It is also produced by C. Robert Cargill (Sinister), Sherryl Clark, Zach Dean, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Greg Goodman, Gregory Goodman, Don Granger, Pamela Joyce, Adam Kolbrenner and Cliff Lanning.
The Crooked Highway-Lit Entertainment Group-Skydance Media co-production stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Sigourney Weaver, Miles Teller, William Houston, Samantha Coughlan, Julianna Kurokawa, Alessandro Garcia, Greta Hansen, József Tálos and Adam Scott-Rowley.

IGN has revealed that: “Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy play elite snipers – one American, the other Lithuanian – stationed in watchtowers on opposite sides of a vast and highly classified gorge located in a faraway land whose exact location they’re not even allowed to know. Their mission? To safeguard the outside world from an undisclosed, mysterious evil that lurks within.
“They bond from a distance while trying to stay vigilant in defending against an unseen enemy. When the cataclysmic threat to humanity is revealed to them, they must work together in a test of both their physical and mental strength to keep the secret in the gorge before it’s too late.”

The movie has been rated PG-13 for: “Intense sequences of violence and action, brief strong language, some suggestive material and thematic elements.”
Release:
The Gorge will be released by Apple TV+ in 2025.
