The Beldham is a 2024 horror film about a struggling new mother fighting a generations-old monstrous presence lurking within her family home, threatening her safety, her sanity, and the life of her infant child.
The movie was written, directed and co-produced by Angela Gulner. It was co-produced by Talia Bella, Mark Meir and Randy Wayne.
The Rebellium Films-Wicked Myth Films co-production stars Patricia Heaton, Katie Parker (The Fall of the House of Usher; Absentia), Emma Fitzpatrick (The Collection) and Corbin Bernsen (The Dentist).
Plot:
Struggling new mom Harper (Katie Parker) moves in with her mother Sadie (Patricia Heaton) to renovate a fading suburban farmhouse. The two are joined by her mother’s new boyfriend and a mysterious live-in home aide, both who claim to be dedicated to Harper’s postpartum care.
But a sinister presence lurks within the house… one that has designs on Harper’s child. As Harper investigates, she uncovers dark truths about the nature of her reality and questions the intentions of those entrusted with her care.

I watched my own mother sacrifice her physical and mental health in caring for her. And I felt the echoes of this grief reverberate down to me. The role reversal between parent and child that comes with ageing is terrifying, grief-filled, and often debilitating. This story was born from my processing of my grief. But more, from my processing of my love.”
