Summoning the Spirit is a 2023 horror drama film about a young couple that encounters a bizarre cult that worships Sasquatch.
Directed and co-produced by Jon Garcia from a screenplay co-written by Zach Carter. Produced by Joe Jatcko, Michael Repsch, Lacy Todd and Sam Treadway.
The Lake Productions movie stars Krystal Millie Valdes, Ernesto Reyes, Jesse Tayeh, Isabelle Muthiah, Sean Sisson, Robin Magdhalen, Jasmine Sinclair, Lacy Todd, Jimmy Garcia, Bruce Jennings and Alan Burrell.
Plot:
Carla (Millie Valdes) and Dean (Ernesto Reyes) as they decide to escape the hustle of the big city, purchasing a home in the remote forest. They have big plans for their new quiet life, only to find something much more sinister.
The couple quickly realise that they are on the land of a cult, and the leader claims a telepathic connection to a legendary flesh-eating beast deep in the woods surrounding them. Carla and Dean are forced to uncover the terrifying truth of the cult’s prophecy…
