Komodo is a 1999 Australian-American creature-feature horror thriller directed by Michael Lantieri, best known for his visual-effects work on the Jurassic Park films. The movie combines psychological trauma, survival horror, and giant-animal attacks.

Plot:
As a child, Patrick Connally witnesses the gruesome deaths of his parents on a remote island but is too traumatised to remember exactly what happened.
Years later, his psychiatrist, Doctor Victoria Juno, takes him back to the island to help him confront his fears. There they discover the truth: the island has become home to a population of giant Komodo dragons descended from eggs illegally dumped there years earlier. Patrick, Victoria, and a handful of survivors must fight to escape the increasingly aggressive predators…
