‘Are you down?’
Fall 2: Deadpoint is a 2026 survival thriller and the sequel to the surprise 2022 hit Fall.

Directed by Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig (Jigsaw; Winchester: The House That Ghosts BuiltDaybreakersUndead)., the film shifts the action from a towering radio mast to a perilous mountain setting in Thailand while retaining the original film’s emphasis on extreme heights, vertigo and survival.

The Capstone Pictures-Flawless co-production stars Harriet Slater, Arsema Thomas, Tom Brittney. Einar Haraldsson and Juju Brener.

Plot:
The story follows Jax Hunter (Harriet Slater), who is struggling with the death of her sister Hunter, one of the central characters from the first film. Seeking closure, Jax joins Hunter’s adventurous friend Luce (Arsema Thomas) on a trek to Thailand’s dangerous Mount Kwan.

Their attempt to honour Hunter’s memory turns into a nightmare when a massive rockslide leaves them stranded on a narrow, unstable plank thousands of feet above the ground. Trapped with limited resources and no easy rescue, the pair must overcome fear, injury, exposure and psychological strain in order to survive…

Like the original film, Fall 2: Deadpoint appears to focus less on complex storytelling and more on generating intense suspense through extreme-height scenarios. Early reactions to the trailer have highlighted the return of the franchise’s vertigo-inducing visuals and nerve-racking survival situations, with many viewers describing it as “palm-sweaty” and anxiety-inducing entertainment.

Release date:
Fall 2: Deadpoint is scheduled for a wide theatrical release on September 2, 2026 via Lionsgate.
