Uncle Was a Vampire is a 1959 Italian comedy horror film directed by Steno [Stefano Vanzina].
The movie stars Renato Rascel, Sylva Koscina (So Sweet, So Dead; The Crimes of the Black Cat; Lisa and the Devil), Lia Zoppelli, Kai Fischer, Franco Scandurra and, in a cameo role, Christopher Lee.
Plot:
Italian Baron Osvaldo Lambertenghi (Rascel) is forced to sell his ancestral castle for 80 million lire to pay his unpaid taxes. Unfortunately, when the castle is converted into a hotel, he is forced to stay on as a bellboy.
Meanwhile, His distant uncle (Christopher Lee) arrives from Carpathia but turns out to be a vampire. When Osvaldo is also turned into a vampire, he sets out to bite as many female guests as possible, entrances them and thus undermines all the men in the vicinity…
