Ghosts of Hanley House is a 1968 horror film about five people who bet they can spend the night in a haunted house. Things get dicey when some eerie manifestations occur. Icy hands that choke, cars that won’t start, and every path through the woods lead back to the house.
The movie was written and directed by Louise Sherrill, an actress who appeared in Blood and Lace (1970) and Speak of the Devil (1989). This was her only filmmaking credit.
The Victoria Productions film stars Elsie Baker, Barbara Chase, Wilkie de Martel, Roberta Reeves, Cliff Scott, Leonard Shoemaker, Carl Grzybowski, Rubye Holmes, Frieda Kennedy-Jones, Len Luniewski, Jim Ward, Marc Bizard, Rena Scott, Eileen Baxley, Nosmo King and Mark Bench.
Plot:
In order to win a brand-new 1968 Ferrari, Hank agrees to spend the night in the notoriously haunted Hanley House with a group of friends.
What starts as a reckless wager quickly spirals into a chilling nightmare of: extreme cold; moving paintings; missing keys; and an invisible, ice-cold grip that chokes the life out of the living.

The psychic medium among them senses a dark presence trying to communicate. As that presence reaches out, the group realises they aren’t just playing a game – they are trapped. Will they make it out by morning, or will Hanley House claim another soul?
