Ghoul is a 2015 horror film about three American filmmakers who become the targets of the evil spirit of the most violent cannibal in recorded history.
The movie was directed by Petr Jákl (AVP: Alien vs. Predator; Pterodactyl; Bathory: Countess of Blood) from a screenplay he co-wrote with Petr Bok.
The J.B.J. Film production stars Jennifer Armour, Jeremy Isabella, Paul S. Tracey, Debra Garza, Alina Golovlyova and Kevin Clarke.
Plot:
A group of American documentary filmmakers is investigating how cannibalism swept through Ukraine during the notorious famine of 1932.
After being led deep into the vast Ukrainian forest for an interview with one of the last known survivors of the cannibalism epidemic, they are plagued with a series of unexplainable supernatural encounters.
They eventually come face-to-face with the evil spirit of Andrei Romanovich Chikatilo, who murdered and cannibalised more than fifty victims in the late ’70s and ’80s before he was captured and executed in 1994…
