‘This game has no winner!’

Dead Body is a 2015 American mystery horror feature film directed by Bobbin Ramsey from a screenplay written by Ramon Isao and Ian Bell. The movie stars Spencer Hamp, Cooper Hopkins, Nathan Pringle, Jay Myers, Leah Pfenning, Miho Aizawa, Nic Morden, Rachel Brun and Koe Sakuta.

Plot:

Nine high school kids celebrate graduation at a secluded home in the wilderness. They fight, philander, and feel nostalgic as they embark on a life away from home, in college.

Once the party dies down they play a game: Dead Body. However, when one partygoer takes the game too far, actually murdering the other guests one by one, it’s up to the group to set aside their tensions, and ferret out the murderer before it’s too late…

Reviews:

“While they offer plenty of clues as to who the killer is, it would take a regular Sherlock Holmes to figure it out before the final act. If you love the thrill of a murder mystery and don’t mind the gore of a horror movie, Dead Body is a surprisingly must-see film that coasted way under the radar.” The Critics Den

“They decide to play Dead Body which is like Werewolf mixed with Hide and Seek. I can’t get over how bad these actors are. Not bad really, but more like cringe-worthy. It’s just so painful. They play the game and suddenly these people start dying. Just all of a sudden. No set up, just a big ol’ stabbing party!” The Horror Show

” …check out Dead Body for a nostalgic, intelligent and enjoyable trip down memory lane – with modern touches and an inspired reveal. It’s a perfect addition to the already-extended pantheon of slasher films.” Horrorfreak News

“It has some good ideas, but these are marred with bad execution, unlikable characters, too much emphasis on relationships, and a conclusion that was clearly not intelligent nor thought through.” Scream Geeks

“The killings are pretty tame and uninventive, but a couple of characters simmer with the notion that they may reveal an interesting facet about themselves, but the pot never boils over and we’re left with the pale stereotypes pointed out on the cover art. The identity of the killer is ridiculously obvious…” Vegan Voorhees

Dead Body is available across multiple digital platforms such as Amazon Prime, Vudu, Google Play and X-Box Live on October 17, 2017 via Terror Films.
