Massacre County – original title: Condado Macabro [“Macabre County”] – is a 2015 Brazilian horror crime film directed by André de Campos Mello, Marcos DeBrito (Stranger Tales) from a screenplay by the latter. The movie stars Leonardo Miggiorin, Paulo Vespúcio and Francisco Gaspar.
Plot:
A clown covered in blood is being held in handcuffs inside a cell at a police station. The suspect is being questioned about the hideous crime that took place in an isolated mansion. The house, rented by a group of young friends looking for some fun during the long weekend, had been scene of a massacre.
Meanwhile, a brutal sadistic wild boar farmer roams the neighbouring countryside looking for fresh meat to feed his animals… But after one of them goes missing, hell breaks loose and a bloodbath begins…
Massacre County was released in the UK on DVD by Matchbox Films on 26th February 2018.
