Reviews:

…Hell’s Kitty is grand, 1980’s influenced entertainment. The intermittent sequences of gore are effectively constructed. Still, the labor is never overly reliant on these instances. This can also be said of the spirited scares Tana compiles throughout the endeavor. In so doing, Tana erects an impeccable atmosphere that mixes laughter with the paranormal.” Andrew Buckner, A Word of Dreams

“You can still catch glimpses of the original episodic format, but overall the movie is more fun than any horror flick should be. I watched it twice to see if I could catch any more in-jokes and was just as riveted the second time through, even beyond the chance to recognize familiar faces and half-forgotten scares. It’s a challenging way to make a film but it works beautifully…” Laura MacLeod, The Movie Critic Next Door

“Overall, Hell’s Kitty is an intermittently fun but not quite successful attempt at blending horror/comedy and sitcom formats. Tana certainly has a good concept that he sometimes comes close to realizing, but his execution doesn’t quite work, and he too often sidelines the stronger point of his concept in favor of too-well-worn sex-comedy tropes.” Christopher S. Jordan, The Movie Sleuth

” …builds wilder and wilder sequences on its premise and fills it to the brim with jokes, puns, grotesque bits and the like, often of the (intentionally) so-bad-they’re-good variety. Of course, this is facilitated by a directorial effort that understands the horror genre and a cast that’s not only solid but also mouth-watering for all horror fans due to the sheer number of fan favourites.” Mike Haberfelner, Search My Trash

“Lighting, sound and continuity of script aren’t the most professionally executed. Nick’s revolving apartment door of love interests and celebrity cameos plays out better week to week than it does smashed together. Horror fans are still given a chance to collect a good web show on DVD with so many fun performances from your favorite stars. You just can’t pass it up.” Jason Minton, Without Your Head
