From the Dead is a 2019 American supernatural horror film involving murder, blackmail and the occult.
Directed by Ryan Schafer and Hebron Simckes-Joffe from a screenplay co-written by Schafer and Victor A. Martinez, the movie stars Jc Currais, Sarah Hollis, Ben Morrison and Will Leon.
Plot:
When besotted peeping tom Dirk (Ben Morrison) witnesses Janie (Sarah Hollis) accidentally murder her husband Frank (Will Leon), he tries to do everything in his power to blackmail her in order to get what he wants. Meanwhile, the dead man’s brother, Chuy (Jc Currais), a big believer in the occult, unleashes an ancient Aztec spell to resurrect Frank ”from the dead”…
