Plot:

In 2003, seventy-year-old Charlie Sorland is conditionally released from death row for good behaviour and societal contributions after serving fifty years for serial murders. As new murders begin to occur by way of Charlie’s old m.o., Detective Brent Lowe takes notice of the similarities and employs Charlie’s help in getting into the mind of his own copycat killer with promises of a full pardon for the catch…

“There is some clunky dialogue and a few sketchy performances. That, however, comes with the territory. Overall, Emulator is a watchable, no-frills thriller that will catch you off guard a time or two […] The music in Emulator is a pleasant surprise. We first see Jason wearing a Front 242 shirt. But rather than being industrial, the music has a more 80s synth/goth feel..” Voices from the Balcony
