Reviews:

Agramon’s Gate is an interesting film. It takes some of the basic elements of the horror/suspense genre and molds them into a pretty decent story. There are a couple of places in the film where I felt things could have been expanded on or explained better. But overall, the plot was pretty solid and the acting was well done.” Bruce Von Stiers

” …acting is really very good, the story develops in an interesting way, and the pacing is really good. The two “Cajun” characters have truly atrocious accents, which were pretty much unnecessary and distracting. Other than the accents, the story moves along with a good pace and was otherwise very well made.” The Horror Guys

“I wasn’t expecting it, but Agramon’s Gate, for all its flaws, was a great deal of fun. It ends on a surprisingly effective cliffhanger and there are a few performances in the cast that kept me caring about the fate of this group of poor decision-makers. Don’t take it too seriously and you just might find you fell under the spell of this film.” Killer Horror Critic

“Regardless of its shortcomings, Agramon’s Gate is a unique paranormal piece that I found to be admirable and enjoyable. Fans of indie films will appreciate the performances, special effects and story as the left hand of the devil on a budget goes to work feeding on fear to become a formidable force of manipulation.” Pop Horror

“This is filmed well, has some decent performances, some great make-up and sound. Even with all so much going right for this it was let down by a weirdly drawn out and suspense-less plot that prioritised filler over the more interesting sub-plots.” The Rotting Zombie

Harley Wallen

“It might use a slow build-up, but it’s never boring, always putting a focus on suspense when doing so, it’s populated by fleshed-out characters who are so damn relatable because they’re flawed, it uses plenty of tried-and-true scare tactics but sparingly for maximum effect, and places its jump scares only where they need to be.” Search My Trash

“Simple story, limited cast, small scope, modest special effects, basic lighting and set decoration, few locations, a crisp image, focus on characters and dialogue; this is the face of 2019 low budget independent horror. These days, we can achieve more with skills than budget alone, and the creators of Agramon’s Gate did just that.” Tales of Terror

“There’s a heart-ripping scene that’s the bloodiest thing I’ve seen in one of Wallen’s films. It’s not particularly gory by genre standards but it was nice to see. On the downside, Agramon’s Gate can be a bit hokey at times […] Like all of Wallen’s films, it takes a while to get going, and the low body count will disappoint a lot of viewers.” Voices from the Balcony

Agramon’s Gate is a well-paced demonic game of cat-and-mice film that makes good use of its cast and sporadically unleashes the terror at the right moments with Wallen’s trademark of inserting more twists and turns that sets the tone and pacing just right.” World Film Geek
