‘Get out of the way or die!’

Berserkers is a 2014 American comedy horror film about four friends fighting for their lives in a town of bloodthirsty maniacs. Aka Meltdown

Written, directed by and starring Jacob O’Brien Mulliken (based on his 2012 short film Meltdown), the movie also stars Seth Gontkovic, Alicia Marie Marcucci and F. Robert McMurray.

Plot:

On the eve of Hunter’s (Jake Mulliken) 29th birthday, he is sharing a few drinks with Zeke (Robert McMurray), Callie (Alicia Marie Marcucci) and Les (Seth Gontkovic) on another seemingly dull day in their hometown of Somerset, Pennsylvania.

The day rapidly takes a turn for the worse as everyone they have ever known are suddenly transformed into aggressively murderous flesh-eating freaks. The four friends are forced to hack and slash their way through the reanimated corpses of their closest friends and loved ones…

Reviews:

“Overall this is worth a watch if only to see how well the blood and guts are done for an indie film, although I won’t score it that high as I thought it had some poor acting and although I like the fact they took a risk in jumping forward the second half of the film wasn’t as good as the first.” Acid Horrors
