Snake Eyes is a 2021 American action thriller film featuring the titular characters and a spin-off from the G.I. Joe franchise.
Directed by Robert Schwentke (Allegiant; R.I.P.D.; Red; Tattoo 2002) from a screenplay co-written by Evan Spiliotopoulos, Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse. Produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Brian Goldner and Erik Howsam.
The Paramount/MGM/Skydance/Hasbro production stars Henry Golding, Andrew Koji, Úrsula Corberó, Samara Weaving, Haruka Abe, Tahehiro Hira and Iko Uwais.
Plot:
‘Snake Eyes’ is a tenacious loner who is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage after saving the life of their heir apparent. Upon arrival in Japan, the Arashikage teach ‘Snake Eyes’ the ways of the ninja warrior while also providing something he’s been longing for: a home.
However, when secrets from his past are revealed, Snake Eyes’ honour and allegiance will be tested – even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him…
