Plot:

When a narcissistic son (Chris Baker), yearning for a life of luxury, and his father’s erratic gold-digging wife (Eliza Coupe) decide to kill their way into their inheritance, they employ the help of an absurdly handsome, mysterious hitman (Greg Finley), initiating a psycho-carnal love triangle that spirals into more than anyone bargained for…

Blurb:

“Deftly balancing sharp humour and horror, The Estate delivers a perfectly campy, wildly enjoyable thrill ride that packs a deadly punch.”

Reviews:

“This is meant to be a black comedy, and at times there is the sharp, biting humor that you would expect from one of those. Unfortunately, a lot of the humor is of the sit-com variety, kind of safe and not quite as outrageous as the filmmakers seem to think it is. Still, there are plenty of twists and turns and the kind of plotline that will make even the most jaded pessimist roll their eyes with delight.” Cinema 365

“Director Kapner keeps things moving fast and furious, with wonderfully witty transitions and contrasting its ink-black themes with candy-colored sets. It will certainly not appeal to anyone who likes at least one person to root for in their films […] But for those who felt James McNaughton’s Wild Things was too chaste and cheery, The Estate is right in their wheelhouse.” Film Threat

The Estate is, without a doubt, a brilliant and top-notch dark comedy thriller. The writing, acting, and directing are perfectly executed. This was such a fun movie! I can’t recommend it enough.” Pop Horror
