The Fall of Usher is a 2022 American horror film about a young man who is pulled into a maelstrom of murder, madness and the macabre whilst caring for his terminally ill father.

Written and directed by Brian Cunningham (Wretch; Loss Prevention; Overtime; short: Shadow Reaper; documentary: Monsters Wanted), inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe. Produced by Nic Brown and Janel Nash. Executive produced by Matt Niehoff.

The ThoughtFly Films production stars Rita Hight, Riker Hill, Spencer Korcz, Michael R Mcguire, Savannah Schafer and James Tackett.

Reviews:
“Like Lady Usher and The Bloodhound, it’s an offbeat take on Poe’s works. One that will, I’m sure, find a much more receptive audience in the author’s fans than general horror fans. Brian Cunningham’s film won’t appeal to everyone, probably not to a majority of them […] it’s worth a look.” 3 out of 5, Voices from the Balcony
