Bigfoot 2 is a 2022 Chinese monster movie in which an expedition group encounters a variety of fearsome creatures including the titular beast. Also known as Sasquatch.
Directed by Zhang Jingsong and Liu Keye from a screenplay written by Zhang Jingsong, Xie Shaofeng, Jiang Mengxuan, Shi Junzhe, He Gang, Pan Yuanjia and Hou Changrong.
The movie stars Jiang Guojun [aka Jiang Mengxuan], Wu Ran, Cheng Zhen, Gao Zefan, Ye Yongrong, Wang Gang.
Plot synopsis:
Anna (Jiang Mengxuan), is a biological researcher. In order to find her grandfather who disappeared during the scientific investigation of the mysterious forest ten years ago, she sought out Doctor Xie, her grandfather’s disciple, and Li Yuhang, the son of her grandfather’s colleague, to form a team and set foot on the mysterious forest again to look for clues.
In the primaeval forest, the expedition team played life-and-death games with prehistoric crocodiles and mutant giant spiders and even discovered a mysterious creature that only existed in legends — Bigfoot. Just as everyone was immersed in joy, they did not know the greater danger…
