Reviews:
“The final act of the movie had me totally reinvested on every front: the characters, the plot, the action, the audio-visual design. It just didn’t maintain that energy throughout. Mutant Mayhem is fun when it’s fun but dull when it’s dull.” 6.5 out of 10, But Why Tho?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is a visual triumph that continues to raise the bar for the animation industry in its own special ways. Underneath all of its style and flair is a fervent heart and soul that has the power to unite audiences of all ages. These turtles may be specifically targeted for Gen Z, but that doesn’t make it any less accessible for anyone else and that’s where this film’s brilliance lies.” 4.5 out of 5, Discussing Film

TMNT: Mutant Mayhem is going to be the surprise film of the year. While it is obviously aimed at a younger audience and fully lives up to the promise of being a family-fun movie, it is the surprisingly universal emotional narrative that transcends age and makes it a great film. It might be presented as a kids’ movie, but it is going to be remembered as cinema much like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) was. It is a sleeper classic that you don’t see coming.” The Illuminerdi

“The animation takes some getting used to. The kinetic, exaggerated style has some figures looking deformed, but it all comes together and gives the Turtles a fresh, energetic look […] While the tone and some of the jokes are geared towards people in Rogen’s age range, and thus suits people like me, some of it may fly over the heads of younger children […] Even so, kids will still fall in love with the fun-loving, pizza-chomping, kick-throwing Turtles…” 2.5 out of 5, Punch Drunk Critics
