Reviews:
“Grillo is one of those actors who excels on either side of the fence, good guy or bad guy Grillo is going to knock it out of the park and King of Killers was no exception. If you are a fan of the John Wick or Accident Man films, you are more than likely going to be a fan of King of Killers.” Bulletproof Action

“Once the story was set and the death matches began, Kevin Grevioux’s direction really stood out. The space was perfectly utilized, and the pacing of each scene was gripping. It is his understanding of feeling trapped that he managed to put on the screen. Where he seemed to falter was in directing the actors. Grillo and Dorff are at their A-game, but Moussi falls flat against them.” Film Fugitives

“A significant commendation goes to Frank Grillo, who elevates any film and portrays an intimidating villain in this one […] King of Killers has garnered unfavorable reviews, primarily due to its limited budget, which is perceptible in some CGI effects. But it may still be enjoyable for those looking for a fun ride.” High on Films

King of Killers is a mess, but it is a rewatchable mess. It might have logical issues, but Grevioux has the good sense to let Moussi and Grillo play to their strengths. His film really is a lot of unpretentious, bone-crunching fun. Recommended for Grillo and Moussi fans when it hits streamers…” J.B. Spins

” …has a wafer-thin and dull plot that’s just an excuse to get to the meat of the story: the action. King of Killers is, essentially, the equivalent of a lengthy video game, but not a very fun or imaginative one. Like many action films these days, it’s hard to watch it without thinking about better action films like John Wick and The Raid.” The NYC Movie Guru

“While exciting in its foundational bones, the narrative often feels like a pastiche of other action movies we’ve all encountered before. It’s as if the film suffers from an identity crisis, wanting to pay homage but unsure of its unique voice […] King of Killers may not rewrite the action movie playbook, but it offers enough thrills to keep your heart rate up.” ★½ Overly Honest Movie Reviews

“Some well-staged action sequences are wrapped up in an extremely tired plot with characters that are almost too underdeveloped to even be called generic. If those scenes are all you care about then King of Killers may work for you. But so would pro wrestling, and it has better-developed characters.” ★★ Voices from the Balcony
