Big F*cking Snake is a 2021 American horror film about more lethal rattlesnake attacks in the California desert that began forty-five years ago.
The movie posits itself as a very belated sequel to Rattlers (1976). It was initially titled Rattlers 2 and even contained footage from the original. However, those death scenes were presumably used without proper clearance because the current retitled version is without the ’70s throwbacks and has a running time of just forty-six minutes. Directed by Dustin Ferguson (Arachnado; Angry Asian Murder Hornets; Ebola Rex; Amityville: Evil Never Dies; The Amityville Legacy; Camp Blood 4 and 5; Meathook Massacre) from a screenplay co-written by Josh Price and Lee Turner, the SCS Entertainment production stars Mel Novak, Brinke Stevens, Mercedes Peterson, D.T. Carney, Dawna Lee Heising and Jennifer Nangle.
