Reviews:
“Adkins is as convincing as ever as the one-man fighting force as he tries to keep Mansoor and wife safe whilst trying to locate the dirty bomb. Berenger and White are good in support although Alexis Knapp as Agent Lomax is something of an irritant to the ears with the sort of whiney voice frequency that’s one step from fingernails on blackboard. But director James Nunn keeps the action and firefights propelled breathlessly…” Any Good Films?

One More Shot is supported by strong performances from the three leads, who offer some emotional intensity to go with the overall stunt show. Berenger also gets in a few great reactions to the airport mess. However, Knapp is the wrong choice to play a tough law enforcement official […] Perhaps one doesn’t come to this style of entertainment for the drama, and One More Shot certainly delivers when it comes to bone-breaking blood-spattering events.” ★★★½ Blu-ray.com

“Like the original, One More Shot has been filmed to look like a single continuous take. The gimmick adds some real-time intensity to the fighting as Harris single-handedly takes on a coach-load of mercenaries, leaving 50 or 60 men the size of Dwayne Johnson crumpled across the carcass-strewn airport […] It’s a movie with a fairly low IQ too – violent, boring and a bit soulless, always on the edge of running out of steam from the 45-minute mark.” ★★ The Guardian

Berenger makes the most of the few minutes he’s on the screen, but very disappointingly, Michael Jai White has even less screen time with only a couple of short scenes before a solid, if short, fight with Adkins. One More Shot is the best film he’s been in for years, unfortunately, he’s barely in it. Overall, One More Shot is a superior action film, both in terms of the quality and quantity of the mayhem it delivers.” ★★★★ Voices from the Balcony

“Unlike the frequent bullets slamming into skulls, One More Shot will have little lasting impact […] Yet for all it has obvious flaws in its characterisation and there’s a certain repetition to the action, One More Shot is made with enough skill, and actual love for the action genre, to be one of the stronger B-movie scrappers that you’ll see this year.” The Wee Review
