‘Hollywood is a killer’
MaXXXine is a 2024 horror thriller film set in 1980s Hollywood as aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. However, a mysterious killer is stalking the starlets of Tinsel Town and a trail of bodies and blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.
The movie is Ti West’s third entry in his X trilogy following Pearl. Mia Goth returns to reprise one of the two roles she played in X. It was co-produced by Jacob Jaffke and Ti West and executive-produced by Goth. Additional producers include Kevin Turen and Harrison Kreiss.
The A24-Access Entertainment-Motel Mojave production also stars Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Halsey, Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon.
Release:
A24 will release MaXXXine theatrically in select US locations on July 5, 2024.
