Reviews:
“Ganymede may not cover much new ground but it at least tries to do something different with a story that’s been told a thousand times over. The injection of horror certainly gives it something unique, and the lead actors provide the hook for the audience to invest their time. The film delivers a satisfying conclusion that feels earned, and the core audience will likely find a lot to enjoy.” ★★★½ Entertainment Focus
“Ganymede is an LGBTQ thriller with a story that many should be able to relate to. It’s a story of love and acceptance. Or rather, what it does to a person not to have this. I recommend everyone to check out this thriller.” ★★★ Heaven of Horror
“Doww’s performance does the majority of the heavy lifting. There are a few cliches frequently found in LGBTQIA+ stories, but for the most part, Holt and Probst craft a wholly original drama well worth the watch. Carrying the baggage of emotional trauma and gay shame, Lee needs more than a hug to get him through.” ★★★½ Josh at the Movies
“The horror, both natural and supernatural, is well-executed, and the creature design is exceptional. The pitch-perfect ending leaves viewers hopeful despite humanity’s worst tendencies; salvation is mercilessly offered to those who deserve it most.” ★★★★ Morbidly Beautiful
“Far more than just a piece of cinema, Ganymede stands as a compelling narrative urging viewers to confront and embrace their true identities despite the hurdles they may face. The film’s conclusion is particularly stirring, offering a beacon of hope and transformative power of acceptance that will touch a chord with many.” ★★★★ Overly Honest Reviews
“Overall, Ganymede is a well-written and acted drama whose supernatural element dovetails nicely into its main storyline. It’s well worth a watch for those looking for some atmospheric chills with their drama.” ★★★★ Voices from the Balcony
