‘3 realities, same Hell.’
Dead Teenagers is a 2024 meta-slasher horror film about teens being stalked by a killer in the woods. But when the killer accidentally dies, the kids discover they cannot leave until they’ve fulfilled the script of the movie they’re trapped in. They must decide who among them lives and dies.
The movie was written and directed by Quinn Armstrong (Wolves Against the World; The Exorcism of Saint Patrick; Survival Skills).
The Fresh Hell, LLC-Genre Labs-Good Deed Entertainment co-production stars Jordan Myers, Maya Jeyam, Tony White, Mary Charles Miller and Angel Ray.
Blurb:
“Three Realities. Same Hell. From writer/director Quinn Armstrong (Survival Skills) and the studio that brought you Nightmare Cinema comes ‘Fresh Hell’: a new triptych of three visionary horror features. Travel to the world of a nefarious conversion camp due for a reckoning with The Exorcism of Saint Patrick, to a commune of ultra-right-wing metalheads who can’t harness the beasts inside with Wolves Against the World, and into an archetypal ‘cabin in the woods’ where the ill-fated teens take control of their narrative in Dead Teenagers.
With ‘Fresh Hell’, Armstrong lovingly harkens back to the Hammer Horror or Roger Corman model of shooting films on a small budget back-to-back, each film with its unique aesthetic and cleverly interconnected elements between them.

Reviews:
“Dead Teenagers offers more meta-horror, but before eyes start to roll, Armstrong breathes some badly needed new life into this particular genre space that hit max occupancy years ago. Does everything work here? No, not quite; the last act hits a snag or two. Even so, the ambition here is more successful than not.” Bloody Disgusting
“Its postmodern nature is not of the arch Scream variety, but a textbook deconstruction so thorough, its footnotes have footnotes. Ambitious? That’s putting it lightly. Although Armstrong doesn’t quite wring it into being fully successful, he has enough tricks — such as Mandy happening upon a crew van or entering a time loop — to make the Fresh Hell entry the most fully realized.” Flick Attack
“I actually found myself really enjoying the idea and concept of this final movie. It just didn’t manage to hold up in terms of execution. Somehow, it took everything a bit too far and started losing me. Still, it is worth checking out.” ★★ Heaven of Horror
“These teens try to get things back on-track if only to jumpstart time itself, going through the motions in ways that prove the writer’s words are sacred regardless of intent. Some attempt to cheat that rule to the detriment of others (blood will be spilt—more than twice the first two Fresh hell films combined) while others look to become the writer themselves. It proves an ingenious thrill ride through the fourth walls of previously shattered fourth walls.” 8/10, Hey, Have You Seen?
“If Dead Teenagers and the cinematic triptych it completes is to be read as an artist’s statement, then it becomes clear that Armstrong is not necessarily interested in simply making straightforward genre films. Rather, his creative impulse is to use the premises and and promises of certain subgenres – possessions, werewolves, and of course, those good ol’ fashioned slashers – as a launchpad to explore more nuanced, character-driven stories.” Movie Jawn
“The film’s unique blend of meta-narrative elements, genuine scares, and significant character development ensures its place as a noteworthy and innovative entry in the horror genre. The film reaches out to be more than just a slasher; it’s a thought-provoking exploration of the genre that engages with its clichés to offer something unique. It is an insightful addition to horror cinema that will undoubtedly be a topic of discussion among fans and critics for years to come.” ★★★½ Overly Honest Reviews
