Advent is a 2024 horror film about a social media influencer who comes across a cursed advent calendar and plays a game against the Devil in the run up to Christmas. Originally titled The Krampus Calendar
The movie was written, directed and co-produced by Airell Anthony Hayles (Satan’s Grotto; He’s Behind You; Werewolf Santa; Midnight Peepshow; Spider Inside Her; They’re Outside). Also produced by James John Perkins.
The Black Rabbit Cinema-Haunted Cinema co-production stars Mark Arnold (Blade Runner 2049), Nicholas Vince (How to Kill Monsters; Paintball Massacre; Book of Monsters; The Black Gloves; Hellraiser), Cory Peterson (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), Rasina Alexander/Pavlova and Cian Lorcan (Werewolf Santa).
Plot:
A social media influencer who is enthralled by urban legends stumbles upon a mysterious advent calendar. Unable to resist the allure, she begins opening the calendar doors live on YouTube, unaware that each door brings a challenge more disturbing than the last. As the dares grow darker and more twisted, her reality begins to unravel…

Advent will have its world premiere on November 1, 2024, at the Halloween FrightFest in London. Miracle Media will release Advent on digital platforms in the UK on November 25, 2024. A US release is slated for December 1, 2024.
