‘This ain’t no walk in the park’
Primitive War is a 2025 action-horror film directed by Luke Sparke that blends Vietnam War elements with dinosaur encounters. The movie follows a US military recon unit, Vulture Squad, sent to a jungle valley in Vietnam to find a missing platoon and instead discovers they are not alone and have to face off against dinosaurs. The film is based on the novel The Primitive War by Ethan Pettus.
The movie stars Jeremy Piven (Entourage, Old School), Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica, Lucifer), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood, Glorious) and Nick Wechsler (The Boys).
Plot:
Vietnam. 1968. A recon unit known as Vulture Squad is sent to an isolated jungle valley to uncover the fate of a missing Green Beret platoon. They soon discover they are not alone and must face the most terrifying creatures to ever walk the planet…
