The Bay is a 2026 survival thriller that combines disaster and shark-attack elements as a group of tourists become trapped in a deadly marine environment in Thailand.

The movie was written and directed by Phil Volken (Dead Sea, 2024; Extortion; Garbage).

The production stars Francesca Eastwood, Dani Oliveros and Alexander Wraith.

Plot:
Best friends Emma and Lani travel to Thailand to attend a destination wedding. While celebrating, they join an excursion to a remote bay known for its spectacular marine life. What begins as a carefree adventure quickly turns into a nightmare when their tour boat suffers a catastrophic accident and starts sinking.

Stranded in open water, the survivors discover that they are trapped within a tiger shark sanctuary. With rescue uncertain, dwindling resources, and predators circling beneath them, Emma and Lani must rely on their courage and ingenuity to stay alive. As tensions rise among the stranded passengers, survival becomes a race against time, the elements, and the sharks themselves…
