‘Part fish. Part snake. Pure evil.’

Plot [includes spoilers]:
William Emerson is a struggling father who takes his three daughters on a trip back to his hometown on the Maryland shore. The family is dysfunctional, with tensions between William and his daughters making the holiday less than harmonious.
Unfortunately, their personal problems are soon overshadowed by a far more dangerous situation. The local community is being terrorised by a swarm of genetically engineered snakehead fish, aggressive creatures that pose a deadly threat to anyone who ventures too close to the water.
As the attacks escalate, the holiday destination becomes a place of fear and confusion. The residents must contend with the possibility that the fish are not merely ordinary predators but unusually intelligent creatures capable of inflicting widespread carnage.
William and his daughters find themselves caught up in the unfolding crisis, forcing the family to confront the danger around them while dealing with their own strained relationships…
