Drag is a 2026 comedy horror crime film about two sister burglars who face disaster during a simple home heist when one suffers a back injury. As the clock ticks and pain sets in, their escape becomes increasingly chaotic before the owner’s return.
The movie was written and directed by Raviv Ullman and Greg Yagolnitzer.
The Jersey Films 2nd Avenue production stars Lizzy Caplan, Lucy DeVito, Christine Ko and John Stamos.
Plot:
Two estranged sisters whose already difficult relationship is put to the ultimate test when they decide to carry out a seemingly straightforward burglary at an isolated rural property in upstate New York.

Expecting an easy robbery, the pair anticipate little resistance and believe they can get in and out without much trouble. Unfortunately, their plans take a spectacularly unfortunate turn when one of the sisters, Jamie, suffers a painful back injury while inside the house.

Rendered virtually immobile and stranded upstairs, Jamie finds herself unable to make a straightforward escape. Her sister is left struggling to manage the increasingly desperate situation, and what should have been a simple criminal undertaking rapidly descends into chaos.
With the homeowner expected to return, the sisters must somehow navigate the house, overcome their physical limitations and find a way out.

As the night progresses, panic, sibling arguments, increasingly questionable decisions and unexpected violence transform the burglary into a horrifying fight for survival. And the homeowner may prove considerably more dangerous than the sisters originally anticipated…

Release date:
The film premiered at the SXSW Film & TV Festival in March 2026 and has subsequently appeared at several international genre film festivals. On January 29, 2027, Drag will receive a theatrical release in the US by Briarcliff Entertainment.
