Unearthed: The Curse of Nephthys is a 2018 American horror film written, co-produced, directed by and starring Beau Yotty (Big Cat Trail; Desert Wolf; short: Call of the Babysitter). The Lone Gunslinger Pictures movie also stars Cat Roberts, Dan Weisgerber and Wayne Lundy.
Plot:
Don Slayer (Beau Yotty) has to do battle with the ancient Egyptian Goddess Nephthys (Cat Roberts), as she attempts to return to earth and enslave mankind. Nephthys was banished to the underworld, cursed to remain imprisoned for eternity by her sister Isis.
An opportunity to escape her torment arises when an ancient artefact is discovered, buried in a chamber under the Sphinx in Egypt. After the object resurfaces in modern-day Arizona, the race to save humanity begins…
