Reviews [click links to read more]:

“Santiago and Ryan head up a fun ensemble cast, and Cimino and Ryan do a fine job at the helm, keeping things running at a brisk clip. The humor may slightly outweigh the horror, but there are plenty of cool practical gore effects on tap. Mass Hysteria is an independent film delight.” Ghastly Grinning

” …the authenticity does not solely stem from the location, it also comes from its sincerity. Mass Hysteria never takes itself too seriously and that is its most endearing trait. That levity makes this film less of a horror and more of a dark comedy. No matter what it is classified as… Mass Hysteria is worth a watch…” Horror Buzz

” …Mass Hysteria is a great way to pass the time. Especially if all of the ingredients sound good to you. For me, there weren’t too many laugh-out-loud moments. What I liked was that it felt like a slasher film mixed with a virus outbreak mixed with a witch hunt.” Mother of Movies

“Given the high level of activity in this movie — car chases, running, fights — pacing is key and, overall, the filmmakers nailed it. Occasionally, cuts during the dialog scenes weren’t as smooth as they could have been and gave the flow of the film a hiccup-esque feeling, but once the action started back up things resumed their merry pace.” The Scariest Things

” …the filmmakers find a great balance between the comedy, which is very silly, and the horror, which is more suspense and chasing, but can get bloody and kind of nuts. Mass Hysteria is simply a good time watching these people have fun with an idea, and get in a few ideas in on mob mentality and how it can make rational, or stupid, people do ridiculous things.” Sonic Cinema
