The Empire Video production stars Corinna Coroneo (Three Mirrors Creature’s Flashes of Flesh; The Sculpture), Lorenzo Lepori (Flesh Contagium; Notte nuda; Catacomba; Sangue misto; Resurrection in Blood), Ester Andriani, Ingrid Monacelli, Edoardo Lazzari, Iwan Mazoni and Claudio Massimo Paternò.

Plot:
Luna (Ingrid Monacelli) is a young embalmer with a strange passion for everything concerning death.

One day, during a trip in the woods, she finds two bodies. The first one is a dead woman, the other one is a man who is still barely breathing. From this moment, Luna’s life will change forever and a horrifying spiral of violence will take place around her existence…

Reviews:
Born Dead is a gloomy and suffocating film that has its strong point in the pair of protagonists Ingrid Monacelli and Lorenzo Lepori perfectly immersed in their parts, especially Ingrid who gives the film a great performance making her character very disturbing. Not least the proof of Lorenzo Lepori who has by now accustomed us to his restless and unhealthy characters.” Beyond the Horror [translated from Italian]

“This film will be highly satisfying to a pretty select audience. You will need patience, as this is first and foremost a character study of Luna. You will also need a very strong stomach for visceral violence. More than just gory, it is mean, explicit, and painful to watch in ways that most gory moments are not.” 4 out of 5, The Scariest Things
