Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a 2022 American action comedy film that continues the adventures of the titular character. The movie is obviously a sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog (2020).
Directed by Jeff Fowler from a screenplay co-written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller. Based on characters created by Naoto Ohshima and Hirokazu Yasuhara for Sega.
The Original Film-Paramount Pictures-Sega Sammy Group production stars Ben Schwartz, Idris Elba, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Tika Sumpter, Jim Carrey, James Marsden, Natasha Rothwell and Shemar Moore.
Plot:
After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Doctor Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search of an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations.
Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands…
