In the US, Lionsgate will release Plane theatrically nationwide on January 27th, 2023.

Reviews:
Plane goes for audience approval in the final act, but it earns some ridiculousness, as Butler’s performance does a fine job capturing the intensity and physical exhaustion of the chase, bringing some texture to the part. Brodie isn’t a confident hero, but a natural leader desperate to protect and survive, and that primal inspiration gives the feature some welcome ferocity.” 3.5 out of 5, Blu-ray.com

Plane as a whole is just mildly average. It has all the functions of your stereotypical action film, and that’s it. Torrance’s family raises his stakes, yet I never felt that he was in danger. Even Gaspare doesn’t have anything to lose, and because of how the film goes, there is minimal risk. Plane fails to accomplish anything special enough to make it stand out from other films in its genre.” 3 out of 5, Josh at the Movies

“From the thrilling plane sequences and combat scenes to the subtle humor throughout, Plane is the kind of mindless entertainment that viewers will welcome to start their new year. There are plenty of stakes throughout this simple story to justify a viewing in theaters thanks to fun surprises within.” 3 out of 5, Screen Rant
