The Siege is a 2023 British-American action thriller film in which a seasoned assassin has to fend off an assault team.
Directed and edited by Brad Watson from a screenplay written by Nicole Bartlett, based on a storyline by Tom Paton. Produced by Alan Latham.
The Highfield Grange Studios production stars Daniel Stisen (Last Man Down), Lauren Okadigbo, Yennis Cheung (Death Race 4: Beyond Anarchy; Babes with Blades), Byron Gibson, Michael Geary, Samantha Schnitzler, Phillip Ray Tommy, Mark Epstein, Megan Lockhurst and Steven Blades.
Walker (Daniel Stisen), an international assassin/hitman, is compromised during a mission. His handler sends him to a reassignment centre at which Walker will be processed for a new identity. During his stay at the facility, a ruthless assault team storms the compound searching for someone their boss has lost. Walker begrudgingly falls in with Elda (Lauren Okadigbo), a skilled hitwoman, and Juliet (Yennis Cheung), her mysterious ward, in order to maximise the chance to survive the night…

“Had a good concept but the execution was severely lacking. Seriously, the synopsis sounds great, and the opening scene sets you up for a ride, but then it all falls apart. It spends too much time with slow, stilted dialog and just a general snail pace. The biggest problem is it wants to be more epic, grander, wilder than it really is.” Piggulu
“The characters have almost no backstory, and what we do find out about Walker is beyond a cliche at this point. While he looks like he stepped out of an 80s DTV action film Stisen could probably do with a few more acting classes. He’s not bad but he’s still at the stage where he’s better off avoiding long speeches and letting his fists do the talking.” 4 out of 5 stars, Voices from the Balcony
