Plot:
A male gay couple, whose relationship has grown a bit strained, take an impromptu trip to Provincetown, Cape Cod in the off-season. Caleb, one half of the couple, has been plagued by nightmares of his ex, who had been working in Provincetown for the summer.

When they arrive in town, it appears Caleb’s ex has gone missing. As disturbing hallucinations continue to haunt Caleb, he becomes more determined in finding him. But the closer he gets, the sooner he nears the sinister secret the town is hiding…

Reviews:
“Paced like a 70s slow-burn horror film — and I’m not saying that like a cliche, this actually does it […] If you loved Death Drop Gorgeous, this is seriously a complete and total tonal shift, but the same crew and a lot of the cast show up. What this also has going for it are some of the goriest practical effects I’ve seen in some time.” B&S About Movies

” …weaves together the insidious dread of H.P. Lovecraft’s The Shadow Over Innsmouth, the folk-horror trauma of Midsommar, and the cult mystique of Eyes Wide Shut. At once contemporary and timeless, turning Drogo’s patronage on its head serves as an allegory for ostracization that speaks directly to queer culture but is also applicable to any outsider who has struggled with identity and belonging.” 4 out of 5, Bloody Disgusting

“The practical effects here are genuinely outstanding and bone-crunching at times too. The film does struggle, especially early on with some clunky dialogue aimed at exposition, but once it finds its stride it will cast a hypnotic spell on you and draw you in. At a brisk 78 minutes, Saint Drogo is lean and mean…” Bloody Flicks

“One of the highlights of Death Drop Gorgeous is its gnarly special effects makeup, and with Saint Drogo they have raised their own bar. The movie begins with a dreamlike sequence that boasts some of the most impressive practical effects guts that I’ve seen in a hot damn minute. That’s how you open a movie, especially when you know you’re gonna get naysayers who think super-indie productions have nothing eye-popping to offer.” Fearsome Queer

“Essentially, comparing Death Drop Gorgeous to Saint Drogo is like comparing apples and oranges, though a few easter egg references, like a tattoo and a recurring character, provide a link to the films in the Monster Makeup universe.  Though Saint Drogo may have been different from what I was expecting, it didn’t stop it from being an effectual gut punch of forewarned consequence.” Horror Obsessive

“Like the script, which offers grand ideas, a thrilling mystery, and rough dialogue, the visual world of the film fluctuates in quality. Most of the interior scenes are flatly lit […] The film’s commitment to practical effects throughout is cause for celebration […] Saint Drogo is far from perfect, but it’s a beautiful piece of recognizably DIY cinema that manages to make you care about its characters and disquiet you.” Screen Anarchy
