Night of the Hunted is a 2023 thriller about an unsuspecting woman who stops at a remote gas station in the dead of night. She’s subsequently turned into a plaything by a psycho sniper with a hidden vendetta. To survive she must not only dodge his bullets and fight for her life, but also figure out who wants her dead and why…

Directed by Franck Khalfoun (Prey [2019]; Amityville: The Awakening; i-LIVED; Maniac remake [2012]; P2) from a screenplay co-written with Rubén Ávila Calvo, Glen Freyer and David R.L.

The movie stars Monaia Abdelrahim, Abbe Andersen, J. John Bieler, Brian Breiter, Brenda Nunez, Aleksandar Popovic, Isaiah Reyes, Camille Rowe, Jeremy Scippio and Stasa Stanic.

Reviews:

“Khalfoun bides his time until the final moments to take a stance, and only then does the murky messaging come into clear view. The journey getting there is frequently intense as it is muddy by its occasionally heavy-handed dialogue, but every single step is in service to that final punchline. Night of the Hunted taps into the prevalent rage of today to oft-thrilling results, though it sometimes stumbles in making its point.” 3 out of 5, bloody-disgusting
