‘Horror you know as you’ve never seen before’
The Damnation of Dracula is a 2023 Canadian horror film about a group of townsfolk investigating a series of gruesome murders that are being ignored by local police. Unfortunately for them, there’s something more sinister at play than any of them could have expected.
The movie is desctibed as “A reimagining of the Dracula mythos through a very Canadian lens and an indigenous subtext touching on subjects ranging from missing women to stolen land.”
Directed by and co-starring Sébastien Godin (Ouija Mummy; Jekyll vs. Hyde; Blood Rites of the Vampyr; Dinogore; Slimoids) from a screenplay written by producer Chris Darton (producer of Debbie Does Demons).
Principal photography apparently took place in the Niagara Region and the movie is currently in post-production.
