Sinden Gaib is a 2024 Indonesian supernatural horror film about a young woman who becomes possessed by a ghostly singer.
Directed by Faozan Rizal from a screenplay written by Gerald Mamahit and B.W. Purba Negara, based on a storyline by Bumi Nusantara. Produced by Riza [sic], Chand Parwez Servia and Dienan Silmy.
The StarVision Plus-Evergreen Pictures production stars Sara Fajira, Riza Syah, Dimas Aditya, Naufal Samudra Weichert, Arla Ailani, Laras Sardi, Rizky Hanggono, Yeyen Lydia, Liek Suyatno, Yuyun Arfah and Novita Hardini.
Plot:
A young man took a sacred stone while filming Ayu (Sara Fajira) and Rara’s dance in Watu Kandang, Trenggalek. After that, Ayu continues to be visited by a sinden figure from the supernatural world, Sarinten. Many psychics are requested to help her overcome this manifestation, however, the disturbances get even worse. Until now, Sarinten resides in Ayu’s body…
