It Shall Not Be Named is a 2023 American horror film about a young woman who discovers her strange new roommate is a witch.

Directed by Cankat Vatanandiran from a screenplay co-written with co-producer Emmanuel Sandoval. Also produced by Sean Demarco.

The Atop Films-Giorgio Films production stars Skylar Witte, Luke Meissner, Audrey Lilyquist and Jeff Hopkins.

“Much of It Shall Not Be Named’s watchability is down to Witte’s performance; Kat isn’t particularly clever, and she’s certainly not intuitive, which means that watching her put the pieces together takes most of the movie (even when allowing for its bizarre descent into singer/songwriter video territory about two thirds through).
