47 Meters Down: The Wreck is a forthcoming horror thriller that will be marketed at the Cannes film market.

It will be directed by genre director Patrick Lussier (Play Dead; TrickInto the Dark: Flesh & BloodMy Bloody Valentine 2009; Dracula 2000 and sequels).

Meanwhile, co-producer Johannes Roberts promises this third one will be the “biggest” of the three movies. The other producers are James Harris and Mark Lane. Executive producers are Byron Allen, Carolyn Folks, Jennifer Lucas, Chris Charalambous and Matthew Signer.

The plot follows a father who is determined to rebuild his relationship with his daughter as they bond during a scuba diving in beautiful tropical waters while exploring a famous shipwreck. As tensions rise and oxygen dwindles, the pair must use their newfound bond to escape the wreck and the relentless barrage of bloodthirsty great white sharks.
