On her wedding night, Gustavo shows up in their room, murders Eduardo, and proceeds to turn Ofelia into a vampire so that they can be together forever.

In the present day, a group of young men and women take shelter in an abandoned lodge after their van breaks down. Soon, Ofelia appears and seduces one of the guys and meanwhile, the girls go missing. It is up to the other guys to figure out what is happening and Ofelia must make a decision as to how much longer she can continue with her cursed life…

blood of the virginsjpgReviews:

“Visually exotic. Intellectually bankrupt. Sexually arrested. Blood of the Virgins may appear to vie for the gutter-poetic resonance of Jess Franco’s Dracula, Prisoner of Frankenstein and/or the spook-show elegance of Gerry De Leon’s The Blood Drinkers, but it fools no one. This is disposable, semi-sexy, insomnia-curing, faux-gothic nonsense that works great when you’re not really paying attention.” Bleeding Skull!

” … a truly enjoyable film. At the paltry 77 minutes, it’s also just long enough to avoid being boring despite the near-total lack of action. The atmospheric sequences accompanied by an excellent musical score are absorbing for their sheer beauty. The film is a visual feast and one tends to forget the problems with the script.”

“It’s not a classic vampire flick by any stretch of the imagination, but there is plenty of atmosphere, the women are beautiful, and the eye-popping gore, which comes out of nowhere, really sets this film apart from any other vampire film made in the world!” DVD Drive-In

“The plot is actually a bit more twisty and imaginative than the usual old dark house routine, though even with such a short running time the film is guilty of some outrageous but not entirely unwelcome padding (the early party scenes, for example).” Mondo Digital
