A Quiet Place: Day One (2024) is a 2024 sci-fi horror film and a spinoff from A Quiet Place (2018) set within the same universe with events taking place at the beginning of the invasion.
Written and directed by Michael Sarnoski based on a storyline co-written with John Krasinski based on characters created by Bryan Woods and Scott Beck.
The Paramount Pictures-Platinum Dunes-Sunday Night production stars Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Denis O’Hare, Djimon Hounsou and Alex Wolff.
Plot:
Entertainment Weekly has revealed the spinoff movie’s prequel storyline, “Lupita Nyong’o stars as Sam, a woman who’s on a day trip to New York City when the monsters arrive. As everything quickly goes to hell, she’s thrown together with a man named Eric (Joseph Quinn). With some reluctance, the pair agree to navigate and survive the city together.”
