‘Flying can be Hell’

Exorcism at 60,000 Feet is a 2019 comedy horror feature film directed by Chad Ferrin (The Chair; Someone’s Knocking at the Door; Easter Bunny Kill! Kill!) from a screenplay written by co-producer Robert Rhine (Cynthia) and Daniel Benton (Near Death; Jackhammer; The Revolting Dead). The Girls and Corpses Films production stars Robert Miano, Bai Ling, Lance Henriksen, Bill Moseley, Adrienne Barbeau and Robert Rhine.

Plot:

On the last flight of a transatlantic passenger airliner, a priest, a rabbi and the airline crew team together to save a plane from a pandemic of demonic possessions on an international flight. The possessions are able to spread (like zombies) from passenger to passenger and eventually to the pilot…

Reviews [click links to read more]:

“Low brow comedy has its place and Exorcism at 60,000 Feet might land for some, but if you’re looking for anything aside from a film that you’ll have to slam a 12 pack to yourself just to get through, you might want to look elsewhere. It’s a bummer, because the people involved are great filmmakers…” Dread Central

“It’s nice seeing Henriksen and Ling, but seeing actors you favor can’t save a film. When bodily functions, fluids and gross-out humor is your only card to play, you’re simply left with a bad movie. This is a film with bad taste when you’re watching it and an even worse aftertaste when you’re done.” Killer Horror Critic

“I laughed a bit, but overall I didn’t find Exorcism at 60,000 Feet anything special. As many jokes fall flat as work and there’s just too much emphasis on juvenile, gross-out gags. There’s nothing wrong with them in and of themselves. But ninety-five minutes of almost nothing but them gets old fast.” Voices from the Balcony

One Comment on “Exorcism at 60,000 Feet – USA, 2019 – overview and reviews”

  1. “Exorcism at 60,000 Feet is that film that cheerfully plays with its audience. A bucket of blood here, some pea green puke, nuns who engage in lesbian sex as well as ample amounts of other outrageous humor, and a game cast of artists who are in all-too-familiar surroundings and loving it. The end goal achieved by all involved with the production should be (but isn’t always) the mission statement of all cinema studios: give the audience ninety minutes of as much pure escape from reality as is possible.” Horror New Network
